MD 802 - some functions from the old 801 are missing & update probs

    MD802, also the older MD801, PC with Win8 Hello, (1.) the update V2.02 isn't working here too...or i am too stupid for it. When i log in and download the files manually it will work with copy and paste. The updater says "account name or password error". I tried on Win 8 PC and our old XP Notebook. The password i took from the scanner (Register Password) I can't beliee that my account Name should be wrong. (2.) the updated OBD II V2.0 brings the message "the vehicle program is not authorized. please obtain authorization." the old version V1.1 is running. (3) the newer MD802 can't open the ABS/Brake System from our PT Cruiser CRD 2004 ... the old MD801 knows the brake system (HW MK 20E/ SW CBF07/03) and shows the DTCs on our Fiat Strada pickup with 1,3 Multijet Diesel it doesn't find the ECU ...with a multiecuscan fiat tool it's no Problem the Fiat Abarth makes no Problem ...our Smarts i have to test (4) the software updates on maxidas.com have the little boxes to set a checkmark...how can i download more than one file at once ? Because the update program won't work till now i am afraid of destroying the files on the SD Card....is it possible to create a backup SD Card or not because of the different Serial number i read here ?     Hello Mark, it seems like you are our old friends. Thanks for your support all the way.... Ok, here is the answers for your questions. ...(1) Have you installed our PC Suit program came with the CD in your computer successfully? If yes, then you can run this program and log in our server. Note: You must register your MD802 in our site maxidas.com first. Then you will select your own user name and password in the procedure of registration. .This user name and password are the log in ID and password you need... Don't use the serial number to log in our server...NO, the register password is not used in log in...(2) You got this message because you update our MD802 in an abnormal way. PLS DON"T download the file to your card directly. It can't work that way. Pls use our PC Suit to do the update.......(3)I am not so sure what you are talking about. ....(4) Pls use your PC suit to do the update. There is an option "select all". Choose it and you will do a batch update. ...Besides, you can do a backup SD card. Just use a new SD card to do the total update.

    Reply to 2 floor: Hi again ! The Autel PC Suit is working on our PCs BUT does not matter which one ...XP, Win7 or Win 8 with or without antivirus program... we cant log in. The chinese PC Suit brings the same messages like the english PC Suit from the CD. everytime "account name or password error" The Update program is open then but i am not logged in... i only see the files on the SD card and the update list stays empty. On the Maxidas.com web site my log in is working fine. I hope the upgrade (we bought) from 4 to all systems will work / be able to install...anyhow. Are there more Versions from the PC Suit ? Then i would try an other one. What i wanted to say about the older MD 801 is ...it can read the Brake/ ABS System of our Chrysler PT Cruiser...but the newer 802 isn't able to. But thr 802 Looks much more better. ;-) Greetings Mark

    Ok, I would suggest you to download the latest PC Suit in our site www.maxidas.com, since you can log in the site. ... ..Then uninstall the old PC Suit and install the new PC suit.....Try to log in our server through this new PC Suit again.... BTW, we don't have a chinese PC Suit or English PC Suit..... When the PC Suit is installiing, it will ask you for language option, pls select "English" to configure your interface language.....Our MD802 can test the ABS system of Chrysler PT Cruiser from 2006 to 2010.

    Hello, sorry to be such a pain in the neck. Same with the Software from the CD. Okay...our PT is the first edition from 2004 ...no really problem because we own the old MD801 too. May i send u my datas from the MD802 please and you can look what is going wrong?     Hmmm, thanks for the pictures in your upload site..... well, the questionmarks in the install wizard is some kind of bug, because our system will recognize the language of your windows, but only with Chinese or English. When you are using a different language, it got lost and show you those ???????? But we are working on it. ...Yes I see you got a problem when you tried to log in our server through PC Suit. OK, just send me your serial number and user name and password to support@auteltech.com, then I will check it for you.
